Maternity Portrait

Congratulations on your journey towards becoming a mother.

Pregnancy is a thing of beauty that should be captured and preserved in beautiful maternity portraits. It is my job to draw out the beauty, love and femininity.

Just like newborn photography, this unique and special time deserves to be documented and celebrated. How amazing would it be to share these precious memories with your children when they are older?

My professional maternity photography is designed to capture this exciting and emotional time and the love you and your partner share for your unborn baby.

Info about the session

The ideal time to have your maternity photoshoot is at 28-36 weeks of your pregnancy. The photo session will take place in my city centre studio where I can provide a mixture of both beautiful natural and studio light portraits. During the photoshoot I will provide you with different looks and there is plenty of time to change outfits. Anyone booking a maternity photoshoot is welcome to include their partner and children in the session, even pets if you wish. During the summer months, an outdoor maternity photoshoot is also available. I offer a Bump to Baby package which includes your pregnancy, newborn and milestone photography sessions at a special rate.


When to book Maternity Photography?


For maternity sessions you should book at least 6 weeks in advance. If you have only just found me and would like to book then please get in touch as I occasionally have last minute availability. For Bump to Baby sessions (maternity & newborn baby) I recommend booking just after your 20 week scan.


How to prepare?

If you wish to have a complementary make up and hair done, please let me know no later than 2 weeks before your session. Otherwise, please come with hair and makeup already done. If you have long hair, please have it wavy, if possible.

Please wear nude coloured underwear, and bring along a black bra and a white bra. I have a selection of beautiful maternity dresses, but you are also welcome to bring along any dresses you have that you’d like to wear. Please let me know beforehand if you are planning on bringing additional outfits, so I can incorporate them into the shoot.
